Apparently gameplay where virtually everything you do is instanced didn't suit any of the people who left EVE online to check STO out. Random forums all over the net talk of people who've tried out STO scrambling to get eve-o trial accounts. It's gonna be a good year for CCP. :S

This week we've got a new Star Trek Online trailer that reveals the inclusion of the Cardassians, a story about a creepy viral campaign for The Secret World, and how you can get the premium content for free when Global Agenda launches next week. Yeah, we've pretty much got you covered. So now what are you gonna do with your free time?

I'm torn on the whole Fallout MMO thing. There are a lot of things that make FO3 a hands-down better game than the three version of FO that Interplay put out... but some of the crazy things you did in FO2 were really missing in FO3. I mean come on, name another game that lets you marry a cow (literally, watch it folks...)

This is it. The moment you've all been waiting for. Casey Schreiner will make good on his wager with our creative director Joe Lynch, and eat his shoe. Go ahead, press play. It's right there for the world to see.

Oh, and there's also some news about Bethesda's upcoming MMO and Star Trek Online's pricing. If you're into that kind of thing. Enjoy.

Casey has returned, and he's not holding back in this week's episode of The MMO Report. First, there's a little matter of EA announcing the release window for Star Wars: The Old Republic, then there's a new trailer for LEGO Universe, and finally a story about two ultra-creepy star-crossed lovers who found each other in World of Warcraft. Bring the barf bag for that one. So enjoy Casey's triumphant 2010 return to The MMO Report.

And we're back. It's 2010 and The MMO Report has returned like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Except we lost our host. Temporarily. But not to worry, the lovely and talented Morgan Webb stepped in to fulfill the duties of hosting our little show to make sure you know all about the LOVE open beta, how Child's Play refused charitable donations from Atlantica Online, and to show off the new Star Trek Online trailer.

Oh, and in case you wanted to sign of for the LOVE open beta, check out QuelSolaar.com

And if you want to see all the Cataclysm zone screenshots organized by MMO Champion, here's the link. Enjoy.

What I'm reading is that Donna Hawkins is actually the name of the spokeswoman for the District Attorneys office. The name of the woman charged is Lauri Pierce. Might wanna mea culpa that... I'm sure Donna wouldn't find it funny.

Once in a great while there are huge advancements in the course of human history that stand out in the annals of time. Today is such a day. Here in the offices of G4 we found a wormhole in a storage closet that we were cleaning out before the holiday break. Before we could realize what was happening a tape flew out of the vortex and cracked one of our producers in the nose. He's currently in recovery.

When we watched the tape we realized that it was a copy of the MMO Report's New Years Special from NEXT year, 2010. How exciting! We get to find out what's going to happen over the next 12 months before anyone else! So turn your time circuits on, get your flux capacitor fluxing, and prepare to have your mind blown from the future! This is the MMO Report!

Just like dessert at the end of a meal, sometimes the best parts of The MMO Report are the bloopers at the end of the show. Well as a holiday gift to all of you, we bring you an entire episode of nothing but the best bloopers of 2009. Prepare to LOL.

I love The MMO Report, but I'm having trouble getting the latest episodes to come up in iTunes. Does anyone know why this is? The latest one on iTunes is Dec 17th, and it's obvious that there are later episodes. Any help would be great, thank you.

It's our last full week at the office before holiday break, but that doesn't mean we're going to stop bringing you all the MMO news you need to know. Quite the contrary, we're bringing you an episode chock full of info about the free World of Warcraft pet you'll get for using the Blizzard Authenticator, how Age of Conan has adopted the unlimited free trial idea, and a new MMO fan convention starting next summer. But I've got tickets for the midnight showing of Avatar, so let's get this show on the road!

It's getting closer and closer to that time of year when we all have to face the music and spend time with our families during the holidays. Don't worry, Casey will distract you for the next 5 minutes while you try to resist the urge to run screaming into oncoming traffic. This week we've got info on the peripheral Star Wars: The Old Republic novels and comic books, how one man has essentially beaten World of Warcraft, and how Aion is making the banning process fun for everyone. Oh, and there's a naked supermodel playing WoW at the end. No joke. Enjoy.

@JonnieLasVegas

You gave me a thumbs-down and make a (unoriginal) joke about my user name because the host cannot prepare for his show and read a que card? I also said for him to shave his half grown beard because all the popular "news" casters are clean shaven and not scruffs in a tie.

It was an amateur mistake that should be corrected. This is G4, not YOUR youtube channel.

However, I expect you (and others) to miss it by not even knowing what a "worryman"...

After a restful holiday, The MMO Report is back once again to tell you everything that's been happening in the world of MMOs, even if you didn't ask for it. This week we've got brand new Warhammer 40k MMO concept art courtesy of Kotaku, the final reveal of the last two classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and a very...confusing lawsuit brought against Blizzard over their handling and design of World of Warcraft. Expect epic lulz.

I am kinda miffed, I have been a fan of G4TM for along time now, and of the mmo report since I first heard of it. And I learned about my favorite MMO to date watching this web show.... the whole 7 second clip you talked about it =P Darkfall.

But since then its gone through 2 Expansions and I don't remember you mention it.... once! Come on, while it is a niche game, it needs some promotion because its developer isn't doing so hot on it... =P Just report on it and spread the...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Right now you're either waiting to eat or attempting to digest while in the fetal position. Both are perfect oppertunities to take a moment and watch this week's MMO Report. Today Casey will give you the dates for Star Trek Online's open beta, tell you about a Zombie MMO, and brings back WTF Second Life just for the holiday weekend. That's something to be thankful for.

Excuse me for a moment. I know you're busy getting dominated by foul-mouthed children in Modern Warfare 2 right now, but I thought you would like to know the new episode of The MMO Report is now available. In this week's show, Casey lets you know that Star Trek Online finally has a release date, that Aion has sold almost one million copies, and that Warhammer Online now has an unlimited free trial. Now that's a payment plan I like. So take a seat and enjoy the vast knowledge of Casey Schreiner by pressing play and watching this week's episode of The MMO Report.

Yes, I know, you all missed Casey terribly. Well not to worry, this week he's back to bring you the news and comedy you've come to expect from the MMO Report.

This week we're discussing the one million characters that have been created in Champions Online since the game launched, the new "Future Past" trailer for Star Trek Online, and the lawsuit between Interplay and Bethesda over the rights to make a Fallout MMO. So prepare your eyeballs for awesome, press play, and enjoy.

Whoa. What happened to Casey? He looks so...pretty.

That's because this week Morgan Webb is guest hosting while Casey is enjoying real fall weather on the east coast. Bring us back some leaves and hot apple cider. In the mean time, Morgan will tell you all about Champions Online's free weekend, show off the newest screenshots of Bizarro in DC Universe Online, and lament about the lack of beta invitations surrounding the newest Star Wars: The Old Republic timeline trailer. But I have a feeling your attention will be directed elsewhere this week.

Stop staring. It's rude.

Botha-Whoie? It s Bothawui, get it right. You saying that TOR will be a crap game by calling it whoie? I can hear your eyes rolling when you said you were waiting for a Beta invite from Bioware. We all know you praise World of Crapcraft to no end and I hope you never get a Beta invite. Speaking of that, $50 for some crappy mug Blizzard is trying to pawn off on people? That s almost as stupid as that book they re selling. Lame.
